Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how you can delete your data in ClipLedger.

1. Disconnecting Social Accounts

You can disconnect your social accounts (such as Instagram or TikTok) at any time:

  • Go to Settings
  • Open Connected Accounts
  • Click Disconnect

When you disconnect an account:

  • We remove the connection to that platform
  • We delete authentication data (such as access tokens)
  • We stop collecting any data from that account

2. Deleting a Workspace (Owners Only)

If you are a workspace owner, you can delete the entire workspace.

When a workspace is deleted:

  • All data related to the workspace is scheduled for deletion
  • This includes all users, connected accounts, campaigns, and submitted content
  • Data is permanently deleted within 30 days

3. Client Accounts

Users with the role client cannot delete their account individually at this time.

Your data will be deleted when:

  • The workspace owner deletes the workspace, or
  • You disconnect your connected social accounts (partial data deletion)

We will process your request and delete your account and associated data within a reasonable timeframe.

4. What Data May Be Deleted

Depending on your actions, deletion may include:

  • Profile information (name, email, avatar)
  • Connected account data (usernames, profile info, authentication data)
  • Campaign data and submitted content
  • Technical and usage data associated with your account

5. Data Retention

We may retain certain data if required:

  • to comply with legal obligations
  • to prevent fraud or abuse
  • to enforce our Terms of Service

6. Processing Time

  • Disconnecting a social account: immediate
  • Workspace deletion: within 30 days
